Our Firm’s History
On January 1, 1964, Oakley Melton, Jr., opened the doors to his solo practice, laying the foundation for a diverse, general law practice that has evolved through the years. Joe Espy, III joined Mr. Melton’s practice in November, 1973. The firm of Melton & Espy was established in January, 1977. James E. Williams became a member of the firm in 1983, and the firm name was later changed to Melton, Espy & Williams, P.C. Other members of the firm are: J. Flynn Mozingo (1996), C. Mark Bain (2001) , and Benjamin J. Espy (2002). William M. Espy joined the firm as an associate in 2008.
Melton, Espy & Williams, P.C., has been part of the Montgomery, Alabama community for more than forty years. Our attorneys believe in being honest and up front with you.
